Final Results!

Summer reading ended Saturday, and we wanted to congratulate our 1005 readers who read 16,986 books and activities. That is truly awesome!

You may continue to enter books and to print out your list of books for school until September 4, 2013. Sorry, we're all out of prizes! You cleaned us out this year (Way to go!).

Prize drawings will take place after August 22 and no later than August 27. Winners will be called, and there will be a list of winners posted at the Library. We thank everyone for their entries.

Just to keep everyone excited, we will be having a reading program this fall that will begin November 4. It is called Read Around Stratford. Children will be encouraged to read books and enjoy other activities. Please stop by the Library in November to sign up!

Congratulations to our 1000+ Summer Readers, the highest in a few years! Remember to stop in by Saturday for your last books and activities to report.

The deadline for calling the Mayor's office to attend the Ice Cream Party is tomorrow, Friday, at 5 p.m.

Deadlines for the Summer Reading Party

Please remember the following deadlines for the Summer Reading Party:
August 9 by 5 p.m. Deadline to call the mayor's office to register as a Harkins' Hero (read 8 books)
August 16 by 5 p.m. Deadline to call the mayor's office to register to attend the party (read 8 books)

Children must be registered with the mayor's office to attend the party!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the Stuffed Animal sleep over. Everyone had such a great time. Check out some of the crazy, and fun adventures the animals had at the library.
